The Course at Braes Golf Centre
The course itself is set across 75 acres of scenic Braes parkland in Maddiston, Falkirk with astonishing views across central Scotland and out over Fife.
Each hole is clearly defined with no ‘crossing over’, so there is usually a bit of ‘latitude’ for that occasional wayward shot!
Since 2020, Steve and his team have redesigned some holes with new tees, ditches, and water features, strategically placed to test players of every golfing ability.
The course has been developed to –
- Provide excellent drainage to keep the course as dry as possible.
- Let you use EVERY club in your bag!
- Be one of the longest golfing tracks in central Scotland….if that’s what you really want, or;
- Play our Par three tees at every hole so you can be ‘round in an hour’ if that’s all the time you have!
Here for a guid time, nae a lang time!
We also have 2 designated golf practice areas for you to warm up or practice your putting skills, including;
- A putting and chipping practice area adjacent to the clubhouse
- A ‘mid iron’ practice facility extending to some 180 yards long
You will always get a game of golf at The Braes;
- We will always have tee times available at short notice
- Our course is never over played!
- We don’t ‘oversubscribe’ with members. NEVER!
Scorecard
We have nine holes but over FORTY teeing positions, creating an unique, eclectic blend of angles, lengths, etc.
Off the ‘Tiger’ tees, you can play up to 6440 yards (Par 73)….including 4 Par 5’s, 3 Par 3’s and 11 Par 4’s
Off the par three tees, the yardage is a much more relaxing 1576 yards. But you can choose anything in between.
